The management, particularly Floyd, did a wonderful job problem solving and helping my husband and I on our honeymoon! We had painters and plumbers visiting unexpectedly and Floyd made sure we got some money back and discounts for our next visit to OBX. We were very happy with his help. A Little Piece of Heaven is a beautiful home and super close to the beach! However, it wasn't clear to us how hard it would be to get to the location (you ABSOLUTELY need 4WD). I was also disappointed that we had to pay an extra security deposit that was unneeded considering we were a family group. The house did have a mouse problem so we had to throw away some food that they got into. Overall we enjoyed our honeymoon and stay with Sun Realty.
Other than the filth of the house and a rough first day, we made it a great vacation.
Easy check-in, everything was just as I was told.
I would not recommend sun realty to anyone nor will we use them in the future.
When we FINALLY got into the house, it was VERY DIRTY, there were cobwebs EVERYWHERE. Including on the chandelier above the dining room table where we were to eat.The toilets looks like they haven't been cleaned in months and the master bathroom shower was broken. I'm not exactly sure what their definition of "clean" is but apparently it's differs from mine. We spent the first day wiping off cobwebs and cleaning toilets, so that was fun!
Very disappointed in Sun Realty. We drove overnight from PA (9 hours) with 3 kids, 10, 4 and 11 months so they could sleep through the drive because we had spoke to the realty company and they told us we could get into our house early. We arrived at OBX at 9am Saturday morning at which time we went to the office to see if there was anyway we could check in to the house early being that we were exhausted as well as the kids, being as they didn't sleep well throughout the car ride. We were told to come back at 10am to get the door code. We did. We got the code and was told we could be in the house in an hour, to wait for a text. We waited 2 hours before finally deciding to call back. The lady we spoke to at the desk (wish I would have gotten her name) was extremely rude and told us that we could NOT get into the house until at least 4 regardless of what the last person had told us before about only having to wait an hour because we had to wait until it was cleaned, fine. We spent the next 6 hours in the car while it was POURING with 3 cranky kids and 2 cranky adults, waiting for our house to get "cleaned".
Although a few little dislikes with the rental house we got, over all it was AWESOME...
Wish I could put this as less than a star but it's not an option. We paid the extra $300 for the pool to be heated since it was the end of May and we had 3 kids under the age of 2. We arrived to an inch of dust and pet hair on everything and an un-heated pool. We called to report both. The cleanliness was never addressed and the pool didn't get up above 70 until Day 5 of an 8 day stay. I reported both issues again upon check-out and was told someone would contact me. A week later....still no word back AND 6 members of my family have a skin infection which a doctor diagnosed as a result of spending time in an 'unsanitary pool'!! I called back and they processed a PARTIAL refund for the pool HEAT ONLY and told me if I would have pressed harder on the cleanliness of the house they would have sent someone out but couldn't do anything after the fact. They also told me the sanitary conditions of the pool were not their responsibility but the pool vendors per their contract. They then refused to give me the name and number of the vendor but offered to have them contact me directly. LOVE OBX. Will NEVER use this realty company again.

We stayed at angels allure in corolla, the pictures of the home online were beautiful we were all very excited to go. When we arrived we noticed one room had blood stains on the pillow case, the 2nd floor bedroom had a hole in the ceiling, the downstairs toliet wouldnt flush, the kitchen cabients were peeling and one was missing all together when we called sun reality they didnt apologize for the state of the house they just offered another pillow case. The rooms weren't as clean as houses we have rented in prior years. The outside of the home was covered in spider webs and dirt. When my two year old walked in the volleyball court she was bitten multiple times by sand fleas. The 2nd floor dryer stopped working they never returned our call about it. While we had a wonderful time visiting corolla we will not be renting with sun realty again.
