We had such a great time at Shell We Dance for our family vacation this year. The house was clean and extremely well-stocked with everything you might need, including all types of cookware and a slow cooker. The house felt really, really big and was close to the beach access. We loved that it had gates on the deck. I do wish the yard had a little bit more grass, but it wasn't the end of the world. Overall, I'd say this is one of if not the best vacation homes we've ever stayed at in OBX. We would definitely come back!
We stayed at True Companion in Ocean Sands and had an awesome week! The house was great and so well stocked with everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the outdoors. It was very clean and well maintained. The kids loved the pool. We were even pleasantly surprised by the gifts from the owner (a bottle of wine and a dozen bagels from Lighthouse Bagels!) This was the perfect house for our family including our dog. We had visitors toward the end of the week and this house was the perfect size for two families of four. I highly recommend this property and Beach Realty NC.
We vacation with four families and this home more than meet our needs! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our meals. The house is well kept and very clean. The finishes are beautiful. The outside area around the pool was spacious and the covered cabana provided shade for those wanting to get out of the sun. The home's proximity to the beach access was perfect. This house offered something for everyone (pool, volleyball, pool table). Our teenagers loved the bottom floor. We enjoyed this home so much we have already booked it for next year. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!
We could not have been happier with our choice to rent Salty Paws. Starting with the obvious, this house takes great care to not only be dog friendly, but dog inviting. The lost dog tags helped put minds at ease with so many people in and out of the house, and our two small dog friends loved chasing each other around with the treats! We booked this spot to hold the wedding parties for the two family weddings in Corolla that week. It fit everyone great and made planning a breeze. The rooms were amazing, everyone fit comfortably whereever we hung out, and I cannot say enough great things about that massive pool! We loved this spot and would recommend to anyone looking for a great time with friends, family, and dogs just a short walk from the beach.
Had a mix up with another renting website, which caused for a great deal of confusion. When I called customer service, they were extremely condescending, rude and did not even offer help with refunding me money spent on useless transaction fees. Overall a tremendously bad experience which could have been handled much better.
