The Mystic Jewel store is great! The jewelry is beautiful and done by artists not mass produced. One of the sisters (owners) was so helpful and friendly. It's worth the drive to check this store out:)
It's a clump of tourist shops and eateries, and that's a good thing. The shops are fun ones, the food is decent, and there are some fun spots for the kids (such as go kart racing). It's also a nice spot to just walk around for a change of pace from the beach (or if you want to have AC shelters at hand). My word of caution - if you drive something larger than a compact, be careful in parking. In some spots the spaces are fine, in others, quite narrow.
Very quaint shopping area with many different cute shops and restaurants. Has a definite beachy feel. Well worth the trip!
Lot of stores with great items but some carry the same stuff. Fun to walk around the stores and see everything. Employees were friendly and stores we clean. Obviously a tourist trap. Be ready to pay a little more and get a little less quality. If you go in fall you can find some pretty good deals though.
Enjoyed the shops. A must 'go to' is The Mystic Jewel. The owner was quite knowledgeable about healthy living and very helpful without being overbearing. A wonderful combination. Some very cool finds. Check it out! Also loved the Farmers Daughter. The store can always be a source of terrific finds. Too many other places to mention so check it out.
