Nice little spot on the beach. Rooms are very nice and staff very attentive. Breakfast is a bonus. Serving breakfast through 10am is a huge bonus.
Great location! The ease of access to the beach was a boon. The 3 outside swimming pool options; kiddie pool, lazy river, and standard pool combined with the inside pool and hot tub gave the kids tons of options when they got tired of the beach. Free breakfast clean rooms make this a good getaway in a beautiful place.
I came here for an over night stay with my family of 4. They were very nice and accommodating, and even changed my reservation last minute with no problems. The suite was very nice and spacious, and I had a nice view of the beach as promised (although it rained the second day). The only problems for me were the balcony and restroom. The balcony was dirty and covered with bugs so it was impossible to sit outside. This didn't bother me too much because I'm not a big outsider. However, that may be a deal breaker for some. There wasn't anything wrong with the restroom, but it didn't match the rest of the room. Also, the picture they have on their website is misleading. It's a nice picture of a granite counter top sink. That sink is in the room, which is separate from the bathroom. The bathroom is very very dated, but it was clean. Other than that it was a good stay. All of the staff was friendly, and we got a free breakfast. I would stay here again.
Excellent location. Very accommodating staff. Being right on the beach, and family friendly, this is the spot. One thing I may mention is their 6' tall pool gating system is very elaborate and hurts the overall aesthetic. I can only imagine it is required by Corolla town code. Just something I noticed. If you're booking a hotel anywhere near here, choose this place. Also, I've not spent much time in OBX, but Corolla is SO well maintained. We traveled south to Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills. So glad we stayed in Corolla. Also, next door to Hampton Inn is a lot of nature, so you'll have plenty of serenity. Breakfast plentiful and fresh.
Very happy with our stay here. My husband and I went with our 2 young children. Very friendly staff. The hotel was clean. I have no complaints. The beach was beautiful and secluded. We loved our vacation.
